How clean is green?

The article explores the environmental impacts of renewable energy resources, especially waste heat created by human energy demands. Particular focus is given to the potential effects on the climate from wind power generation, as research has indicated that wind turbines pull down warmer air to increase nearby surface temperatures and potentially alter precipitation patterns. The potential of wind farms as a geoengineering resource is also discussed.
